The song is about feeling crushed beneath the governmental power structure, unable to escape the Ouroboros of oppression and hate, suffering, and watching others suffer.
It might be optimistic to say, but I'm gonna say it anyway: songs like this are what make political change. They keep people active, engaged, and interested. Not that it should be up to musicians to rally the troops, but with such a constant influx of conflicting propaganda, music like this brings people together in solidarity. It could be as simple as: "you listen to Zookraught? So do I."
