Yorkshire duo Seafret tap into a classic dose of heartache and honesty on “Love In Reverse,” blending soaring melodies and open-hearted lyricism to explore raw emotional narratives.
Written with equal parts of cinematic flair and lyrical finesse, the track captures the efforts of trying to salvage the remains of a ruined relationship. Aching with need to go back to something that’s no longer in our reach, the emotive number continues a creative rebirth for Seafret, who are riding a new wave of acclaim and momentum.
Speaking of the track, the duo say, “It’s about a relationship that’s ended in ruins and admitting you’d go to hell and back if it meant you could bring even a tiny part of it back to life. A true Seafret style song!”
Fresh off their KT Tunstall collaboration “Five More Seconds” Seafret are carving out a space for themselves with epic yet grounding musicality. The band who are entering a new era of music are also taking their cathartic live show global, with a Latin American tour that includes stops in São Paolo, Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Mexico City, followed by a coveted UK tour support slot for James Morrison this September.
