K-pop powerhouse JUNHEE makes his presence known as a solo artist with "Supernova," a retro-style disco dance-pop track that draws you into his addictive sonic world. With its alluring synth-pop sound, electric guitar base, stylish disco strings, and addictive synth melodies, the track sets up the multi-talented act's journey into a fresh new chapter of music.
Led by captivating vocals and emotive delivery, the thrilling number which captures the explosive feeling of love that feels just out of reach give us an enticing glimpse of an expansive musical direction that awaits us. Having debuted as leader and lead vocal of K-pop group A.C.E. in 2017, JUNHEE is now gearing up for the release first solo debut mini album [The First Day & Night].

Reflecting on his solo sound, he says, "What I can say for sure is that the musical direction I’m leaning toward is in the pop genre. I
think this will continue to show up throughout my future music career, and will definitely lead to a different feel from my past music and performances. I want to create and show the world the kind of music that lasts forever, not just for a one-time listen."
With each song rooted in a  distinct identity, the singer-songwriter aims to craft a collection that has us reaching for repeat all day. Framed by a sense of positivity and togetherness across each note, the album dives into the concept of time as it sets up his signature blend of refined melodies and raw emotion.
A dedicated talent who consistently evaluates his craft, JUNHEE looks back at his journey saying, "I personally feel that I’ve grown the most during moments when I thought I wasn’t moving forward and felt a sense of urgency. I don’t think that will ever change. I need to keep training myself every day. That’s the only way I can become a stronger person."
His ambition for improvement is startlingly clear in his simple yet impactful bucket list for his career. He says, "I want every album I release in the future to be filled with nothing but masterpieces. It might sound ambitious, but I think it is not impossible. And I see this album as the very first step toward making that happen."

But it's not just a dream for the far future, JUNHEE's immediate solo career is equally fulfilling – with a US tour on the horizon. Asked about  favourite parts of performing live, he admits there is nothing more exciting or uplifting that having fans sing along to his songs. On his expectations from tour, he adds, "I think touring solo would be fun in its own way as well. Since these performances will now be from my solo album, I’m also curious to see what that experience will feel like."
His latest single, album and tour are the crowning jewels on a year of achievements. From establishing his own agency H&P Entertainment in May 2025 to recently winning hearts on social media  –  with his cover of "Your Idol" from Netflix hit K-pop Demon Hunters and his duet cover of "Free" with AleXa both going viral –  his solo musical journey has gone from strength to strength in a few short months.

Looking back at the immense fan support, he says, "I couldn’t believe it. The sheer amount of likes and supportive comments. It was the first time I received so much love in such a short period, and I was just amazed. It reminded me once again of just how powerful K-pop truly is."

His words ring true and strong – K-pop is undoubtedly a powerful genre, shaping global superstars of music at every turn – and JUNHEE with his unique artistry combining music and visual elements proves the force of his craft and cements his status as a global superstar ahead of his solo debut project.
