Chinese-American producer HELANG caps off a breakthrough summer with her most commanding release yet, "Don't Depend," arriving via MEDUZA's AETERNA Records. The driving house and techno anthem showcases her signature blend of sultry minimalism and raw power, delivering an uncompromising dancefloor weapon that solidifies her position among electronic music's most exciting rising talents.

"Don't Depend" embodies HELANG's fearless approach to self-reliance and artistic independence. Built around a relentless bassline and hypnotic percussion, the track channels her rebellious spirit into an empowering statement about forging your own path. The production demonstrates her technical evolution while maintaining the emotional depth and atmospheric textures that have become hallmarks of her sound.

This summer has marked an undeniable period of growth for HELANG, highlighted by her standout performance at Kappa FuturFestival in Italy and her recent opening slot for Charlotte de Witte in New York. Her debut on AETERNA Records represents another significant milestone, joining the roster of MEDUZA's forward-thinking imprint known for championing innovative electronic music.

The release follows her successful "Hits different" single on Oliver Heldens' HILOMATIK imprint, and her critically acclaimed 'Flashback' EP via HE.SHE.THEY. Records. Her 'Firehot' EP on her own Dauntless Records further demonstrated her commitment to maintaining creative control while pushing artistic boundaries.

HELANG continues driving her Dauntless Records vision forward, recently hosting another sold-out showcase featuring an all-female lineup at New York's Sultan Room. These events reinforce her dedication to creating inclusive spaces within the electronic music community, providing platforms for underrepresented artists while celebrating diversity and authenticity.

Since launching Dauntless Records in 2023, HELANG has maintained unwavering commitment to her artistic vision while earning support from industry titans including Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, Marco Faraone, Nicole Moudaber, and Joseph Capriati.

"Don't Depend" is available now via AETERNA Records.
