Another Face in the Crowd brings the raw emotion and nostalgic punch of late-‘90s/early 2000s pop-punk and alternative rock into the now. Formed during a cold Norwegian winter in 2022, the project was born from the reunion of longtime friends Petter Berget (vocals, guitars, bass) and Nicolay Nilssen (drums), who reconnected after years apart. With a sound that sits comfortably between old-school Warped Tour and modern alt-rock grit, they continue to blaze forth with a prolific series of singles, the latest being the energizing "Reignite".
Raw, powerful layers of electric guitars open "Reignite", before pounding, adrenaline-fueled percussion and rumbling bass create an invigorating groove. Blending in subtle electronic elements, the track builds dynamically into a cathartic chorus, before launching into a synth-laden bridge that adds further versatility to the track.
