Vietnamese singer-songwriter MINH releases his new R&B single, "Gossip." The single is the latest in what has been an eventful summer for the international artist. Back in July, MINH released his third EP, amends, a five-song fusion of lo-fi and R&B melodies. Despite the release, Minh has no plans of slowing down his rise in R&B.
On "Gossip," MINH effortlessly blends soul with the R&B style from his EP to usher in a more modern flow state. While harboring themes similar to his previous work, MINH turns up the ante with a funky, booming twist. The track certainly keeps the party lively despite its theme rooted in a friendship breakdown.
Those familiar with MINH's work will find the same craft is razor sharp over a soul, pop track. Linking up with producer Michael Choi gives MINH the space to explore with his vocals. MINH uses "Gossip" to amplify his inner voice and reclaim power lost in the fallout. As a result, MINH tows the line between remorse and reclaimful pride.
