MANLY unleashes bass brutality with new single "Blood Bath"

Sydney-based producer MANLY has delivered his most punishing release yet with "Blood Bath," an independently released single that showcases his signature approach to heavy bass music.

The track represents a calculated collision of tearout and riddim elements, combining thunderous low-end weight with jagged, metallic percussion.

"Blood Bath" lives up to its visceral title through carefully engineered intensity rather than relying solely on brutality. The production builds a calculated atmosphere using hollow FX, ominous tonal textures, and restrained tension in the breakdowns before unleashing full-force drops with maximum impact.

The single follows MANLY's well-received EP REVENGE, which garnered endorsements from scene heavyweights including PhaseOne, MARAUDA, and MIDNIGHT T. These industry co-signs reflect the growing recognition of his wildly intense and aggressive sound within Australia's thriving bass music culture.

Born Jakeb Shanley, MANLY has established himself as a formidable presence in the global bass scene through releases on renowned labels including MALIGNANT, MENTIS, and SOUNDS OF MAYHEM (PhaseOne's imprint).

His productions have earned support from top-tier artists like SVDDEN DEATH and MIDNIGHT T, cementing his reputation for creating some of the most raw and brutal tracks in the genre.

What distinguishes "Blood Bath" is its structural intensity, with each section gradually ratcheting up pressure until it breaks with devastating effect. The track maintains a dark, unrelenting mood while demonstrating MANLY's precision in crafting maximum impact moments.

As MANLY continues developing his innovative approach to heavy bass music, "Blood Bath" serves as another example of his commitment to pushing boundaries while maintaining the raw authenticity that has earned him recognition from scene leaders.

"Blood Bath" is available now on all streaming platforms.
