Rising from the streets of Los Angeles with an unstoppable momentum, Hoodtrophy Bino has emerged as one of the West Coast's most compelling new voices. Hoodtrophy Bino’s latest album CBFW (Can't Be F'd With) is a raw and unfiltered journey through the artist's evolution, seamlessly blending gritty street narratives with vulnerable introspection. Known for his magnetic stage presence and recent performances alongside Soulja Boy at Rolling Loud Los Angeles, Bino's sound can be described in three words: “West Coast, Loverboy, and Poetic.”

The album showcases impressive collaborations with heavy-hitters like NoCap and Bravo the Bagchaser, while maintaining the authentic energy that's earned him spins on major platforms like SiriusXM’s The Heat and Power 106. Fresh off the success of his sold-out album release show at The Observatory in Orange County, Hoodtrophy Bino continues to prove why he's becoming impossible to ignore in the contemporary hip-hop landscape.

As part of this monumental release, we caught up with Hoodtrophy Bino to discuss CBFW, his evolution, and what lies ahead in an exclusive interview.

For someone who is discovering your music for the first time, what three words would best describe your sound and style?

West Coast, Loverboy & Poetic

You collaborated with so many incredible artists on CBFW, how did these creative partnerships begin and what's your favorite part of the collaboration process?

My favorite part – building a one-on-one relationship, vibing in the studio and becoming homies. This business is all about relationships — putting down the footwork and making relationships. Sometimes you have to go out of your city and out of your comfort zone.

Can you share more about the themes found on CBFW?

I wanted to make a gritty but vulnerable album with up-tempo bangers as well as reflective ballads. My tracks highlight resilience and staying committed to yourself even when you are emotionally tested. Learning through heartbreak, appreciating loyalty and brotherhood while refusing to care about haters and pressure. Remembering my street past and trauma — overcoming what was once a generational curse of prison or an early death. I am emotionally and mentally stronger, refusing to give up or give in – I can’t be f’d with.

Are there any particular songs from that album that you’re excited to perform live?

CBFW, Understand, Voodoo Couchie, Owe Me That Puss, Bring Her Out, 123 – lots of bangers!

What do you hope listeners take away from this album?

I want them to separate me from the other artists. I'm a HoodTrophy – I Can't Be F'd With!

You've performed with and toured with so many incredible artists. What has been your favorite show or festival to be a part of?

My favorite has been my own headliner show celebrating my album release at The Observatory, in Orange County, California. I was able to bring on artists featured on the album and local West Coast artists fans know and love. It was a love fest for sure and sold out!

I also love being part of Soulja’s tours, Bravo the Bagchaser who feels like home and does an amazing job coordinating his tours and of course Rolling Loud California because of the huge audience!

Tell us about the "CBFW" music video! What was your vision for the video and how did that evolve throughout the shoot?

I wanted to shoot the video in my hood with my homies and home-girls. I followed the lyrics in the song and brought a “Rari to the hood cause we ain’t had none.” We shot the video on hood-day and went to the billboard we got promoting our single “Most Hated.” It was a wild and memorable day!

How do you balance staying true to your artistic vision with the expectations of your audience?

My artistic vision fits perfectly with my audience! I am a lover-boy at heart and I get into serenading the ladies and bringing them on stage with me. My vibe is hyper, crazy and fun. I get energy from the audience and vice versa. We go crazy!!

How do you manage the chaos of tour life? Do you have any habits that keep you happy and healthy while traveling so much?

I go until I drop – literally! I get healthy when I stop and take some time to recharge either at home or on a short vacation where no one can find me! I do try to eat healthy and protect my voice which can give out after too many shows in a row. Sometimes I need tea in the morning, gargle with warm water to recover, and try not to talk (it’s hard to do!).

Finally, what's next for Hoodtrophy Bino?

You never know what's next for HoodTrophy Bino. But, I am touring with Rio Da Yung OG in August, opening for Trippie Redd in September, releasing CBFWII in October with features with Quando Rondo, NoCap, Heembeezy, Lefty, and a possible appearance from Metro Boomin. Stay tuned!
