After releasing a star studded album, Isabel LaRosa returns with a moody new track.
"My girl" is the tender and emotional return of alt pop songstress Isabel LaRosa, who's debut album Raven arrived just earlier this year. Despite releasing her debut to critical review, LaRosa is back on the grind, elevating songs with atmospheric tones and vulnerable lyricism detailing the queer experience.
"My girl" brings the same type of emotional world building and ambiance as Raven, with the same type of effort on production. The instrumental of the track carries strong industrial influence with darker elements accentuating the mood of the track, such as the cinematic drums and strings.
Each element heavily supports LaRosa's vocal melodies that shine the brightest throughout the track, demonstrating that she still has plenty left in the tank.
