Amsterdam-based producer Kilder arrives in full force with Dusk Till Dawn, leading with “Things I Should’ve Said” (feat. Orem). It marks a sleek, five-track EP that opens a new chapter into his refreshed creative universe.
Self-released via his own Infinite Rhythms, the project marks a pivotal moment: “after taking a break and figuring out which direction I wanted to go in,” he says, leaning into his instincts and amplifying his club-ready energy. That newfound focus hits immediately, the title track exudes deep, late-night tension, drenched in UK garage bounce and glossed with melancholic pads that linger after the bass fades.
Kilder’s past work includes pop focused, song-writing collaborations with the likes of Issey Cross, LYAM, and Alice Longyu Gao, but Dusk Till Dawn marks a new direction. Across the EP, hammering techno rhythms, heady rave breaks, and house-inflected grooves coalesce around a consistent emotional pull.
The second and third tracks, previously teased singles like “Smile On My Face” and “Next To U,” arrive polished and potent, their pitched up vocals and clipped percussion lending intimacy to the dancefloor-ready punch. It’s club music infused with heart, not just making you move, but making you feel as well. Meanwhile, focus track “Things I Should’ve Said” (feat. Orem) arrives like a late‑night confession with intimate vocal hooks that weave through a subtle, groove‑laden backdrop, opening up just enough space for raw emotion before the beat steps in.
Marking a declaration of independence, Kilder decides to answer only to himself and the result is an EP that’s cohesive, dynamic, and electric. If you’re chasing music that dances between raw rave energy and after‑hours heart‑tug, Kilder just lit the path.
