Toronto-based singer Markus Azeriah has released his latest single, “UR MINE.”
A glitchy, early 2000s-style R&B track, “UR MINE” features Markus Azeriah’s silky-smooth vocals laid atop a vintage-sounding trap soul-esque beat, complete with warm guitar riffs and bouncy, infectious grooves.
As Markus Azeriah sings, “as long as you’re here / you’re mine,” it feels like the singer himself is pulling you in—no doubt winning himself followers and fans alike.
Born and raised in Toronto’s West End, former performing arts student Markus Azeriah has been making a name for himself locally and internationally, having been described as “a refreshing voice in Toronto’s R&B landscape.”
Bringing Afro-Caribbean influences and sun-soaked vibes to his music, Markus Azeriah is best known for his emotional 2024 single “Love On Me,” as well as his signature track, the hip-hop-inspired “Big Papi.”
