Born I inspires and challenges with uplifting single "Being Enough"

Have you ever questioned if you were enough? Like your standards for yourself are either impossibly high or frustratingly low—so no matter how hard you try, it never quite fits the bill?

Rapper and meditation teacher Ofosu Jones-Quartey, aka Born I, has just released his new single “Being Enough,” a mission-driven track where every line lands with purpose, punch, and raw honesty.

Hailing from the Washington DC area, Born I is known for his ability to move seamlessly across genres while maintaining potent lyricism and an uplifting positivity—qualities that shine through threefold on “Being Enough.”

The production is hypnotic, layered, and decadent, evoking the lush soundscapes of early Kanye West or Common albums.

“Maybe enlightenment’s as simple as being enough” — a refrain that lingers long after the last word.

The track closes with a touching recording of his mother, Gina Jones-Quartey, reflecting on what it truly means to be enough in this world. It’s a moment that’s wondrously wholesome, epic, and quietly chilling if you listen closely.

“Being Enough” is a beautiful single with the power to uplift, advancing Born I’s mission to inspire, challenge what might be holding you back, and bring a spirit of learning through conscious rap.
