Meet Parisian artist and DJ Crayon. He began his musical journey as a DJ, first making waves in the early SoundCloud era with his remixes—work that quickly caught the attention of international label Kitsuné.
A few years later, he became part of the Roche Musique family, joining friends and collaborators like FKJ, Kartell, Darius, and more.
His latest release, “Diamond Miner” featuring ELIZA and FKJ, is a slow-burning neo-soul single anchored by a steady live drum rhythm and warm electric guitar. These elements create a warm foundation for ELIZA’s ethereal vocals to float effortlessly above—her gentle delivery blending seamlessly with the track’s intentional, layered instrumentation.
Channeling the same soulful energy as artists like Cleo Sol and SAULT, “Diamond Miner” is gentle, grounding, and scratches that part of your brain that craves comfort after a long day.
The track sets the stage beautifully for Crayon’s upcoming album Home Safe, due out this fall, which will feature collaborations with Rhye, anaiis, Arthur Teboul, and more.
