itsHOLY gives us a little bit of both in the release of his stunning new music video “Showstoppa,” a glossy, soul-directing Contemporary R&B number that shimmers with raw depth and star quality. With production from the always-sharp 808-Ray and the veteran team of Cool & Dre, “Showstoppa” owns it.

The rhythmic heartbeat of the track provides a lush backdrop for the effortless, expressive vocals of its HOLY, polished with a suave and clean production. It’s the story behind the music, however, that truly takes this record to the next level, “Showstoppa” stands as a personal milestone for the emerging artist, who wrote and recorded this song for the first time in his hometown, surrounded by family, grounded in love, and observed by greatness. Sure enough, during that same session, André 3000 stopped by the booth. Yes, the André 3000. Talk about energy.

“Showstoppa” is an anthem of emergence, surviving but shining in times of trial. itsHOLY’s resilient portrait is painted in vibrant detail, drawing on the type of emotional clarity that can only be extracted from experience. The lyrics shimmer with self-possession and the dull sting of the past, anchored in a groove that doesn’t just move, but swells.

Visualized by the one and only Ace Torie, the matching clip takes that energy to a whole new level. Styled to the nines and full of symbolic imagery, the video plays like a meditation on transformation, bold colors, and poised confidence, the kind of camera presence that marks itsHOLY as a force in R&B today.

“Showstoppa” is a mental victory painted with rhythm and movement. With family watching, legends passing through, and a message that hits right where it hurts for anyone who had to claw their way toward the light itsHOLY hits home here, and there, cements him as one to watch, but more than that, one to feel.

Watch “Showstoppa” now and let it serve as a reminder that once in a while, the best and brightest are forged in silence and then everything backstage explodes in radiant light.
