Rising alt-pop/rock band Noon Again weaves soaring hooks, lush instrumentation, and an undercurrent of nostalgia on their cinematic EP Everything After.
A love letter to the movies that moved them, the band takes us back to the moments where we’ve walked out of the cinemas changed, drawing from the emotive and impactful stories that leave their mark upon us long after the final scene. Led by an expansive theme, the heartfelt EP still makes moments for intimate reflections as seen on standout offering “Some Stay, Some Go,” which traces evolving friendships and the people who stay through every version of ourselves.
Whether paying ode to the scenes that leave their mark or introspective on resonant moments in life, the collection with its depth of indie rock and the luscious shine of pop makes for a bold and immersive soundscape that lingers after each note. Speaking of the EP, the band says, “We don’t want people to just hear these songs—we want them to feel the moment that inspired them. These tracks are about the feelings that stay with you: love that surprised you, grief you weren’t ready for, longing that never fully left.”
Comprised of members Aaron, Donovan, and Nick, Noon Again have steadily carved out a space for themselves in the alternative scene with their rich musicality and poignant narratives – bringing out intensely human emotions with a cinematic flourish that leaves us wanting more.
