Plàsi embraces his own path on new EP 'Camino'

Greco-Swedish artist Plàsi embraces the thrill of self-discovery in his new EP, Camino. The five-track collection blends soft acoustic sounds with richer, more playful production, creating songs that feel honest, personal, and full of heart. Plàsi has always made emotional, thoughtful music, but Camino feels more open and inviting, taking listeners on a journey that looks both inward and outward.

Written and recorded between Stockholm and Amsterdam, Camino captures a sense of freedom and curiosity. Working with close friends and longtime collaborators, Plàsi lets the music flow naturally, mixing warm guitars, subtle beats, and gentle melodies. It’s a sound that doesn’t try too hard, but still manages to make a deep impact.

“Father’s Eyes” is a touching look at the complicated relationship between a father and son. The lyrics speak to the struggle of trying not to become your parents, while also learning to understand them. It’s emotional, but hopeful, showing how we might grow by facing our similarities, not just our differences. Sonically, the track glistens with warm, organic guitars and velvet vocals that ooze with emotion, delivering a raw atmosphere.

The title track “Camino” (Spanish for “path”) carries a message of independence and courage. With light whistling and a relaxed rhythm, it encourages listeners to stay true to themselves, even when the world tries to push them in another direction. With this EP, Plàsi reminds us that the journey matters just as much as the destination.
