Scottish all girl rockers The Marches shares catchy yet melancholic production “Come Back Around,” honing in on their radiant and bold musicality.
An anthem rooted in past personal creative frustrations, the track brims with intricate guitars and elegant delivery as they showcase their sonic potential across each potent note.
Speaking of the track guitarist & songwriter Jane Jenkins, says “I wrote this about five or six years ago. At the time, I was surrounded by musicians—seeing them gig, play in bands, and really live that creative life. I was desperate to be part of something like that myself, but I wasn’t gigging or in a band yet, and it was frustrating. The song came out of that feeling—just wanting to keep practicing, keep going, and hoping that something would eventually click. And thankfully, it did!”
Having burst onto the scene in 2024 with a lush sound that feels warm and nostalgic yet refreshingly alluring, the quartet has continued to evolve with every release steadily establishing themselves as an act to watch.
