Juila Jade is back in the studio an indie pop project. With her first release of 2025, the indie pop artist is making time with her single, "actually, I have time." The burst of sunshine single marks her latest piece of music since 2024's "believe." The space between the two singles has allowed Jade to redefine her sound and future work. "Actually, I have time" is a track filled with self reflection in a hectic world.
As known for her breathtaking cinematic storytelling, Jade puts that ability on display once again in dreamscape, like wonder, to reaffirm inner self. Among a silent repetition backing, the track sees Jade wrestle with self anxiety. It's on the track that Julia Jade balances the line between soothing and empowering as she can only be.
The personal track makes the perfect record for Juila Jade to return. “I wrote this song about pursuing a dream and feeling like you’re constantly running out of time… like, if you haven’t achieved it fully by now, you’ll never do it,” she shares, “I wanted it to be an affirmation you could sing anytime that feeling snuck up on you. Something simple and easy to remember—so you really could use it as a tool.”
"Actually, I have time" is one of Juila Jade's best records in her young career. It speaks to the inner child and offers sage advice to navigate the social world. Written by Juila Jade itself, Wassim Rahmani (guitar), Ivan Krnic (bass), and Anastasiia (strings) shape the singer-songwriter's eloping soundscape, with mixing by Confluence Audio and mastering by Xavier Hill.
"actually, I have time" is available on all music platforms.
