Many people are expected to bear physical and emotional pain, not complain and mask these feelings and "Pain is Super Fun" explores the perils of this toxic positivity in a satirical yet raw way. Lyrics including, "Pain is super fun / Super good huh / Yes it is the best / Give me some," shows this narrative. Sonically, the track features soul-baring vocals singing a biting scream-it-out-the-window anthemic hook over intriguing guitars and colliding beats. Swirling synths and layered textured rhythms that soon collide into a turbocharged bridge add to the song's allure.
