Under their own label, Purity Ring marks their return with new singles "many lives" and "part II"

One of the best electronic pop acts around Purity Ring is making their return in a big way. For the better part of the last decade, Purity Ring has influence just about every major facet of the electro pop genre. The duo has decided to branch out on their own label, the fellowship. With a new label and sound, Purity Ring is ready to shake the genre once more.

"many lives," the first of two singles, leans on synthwave and neon keys to craft an interesting track. Long shifts in shadow play and haunting techno vocals breath life into this interwoven track. The duo, once again, pushes the boundaries of electric pop with their technical harmonies and distorted production. You can find a balance between past and future in these new singles.

If "many lives" look into the past, "part II" seems to hint at the future sound of the duo. The little more pop in its electronic sound, Purity Ring manages to invoke a sense of mediation like state. The urge to release and let go leaks throughout "part II" as its callback to "many lives" towards its closing remarks.

"many lives" and "part II" are listeners' first taste of Purity Ring since 2022. In the years since, the duo have been find tuning their craft in order to come back better than ever. In their first outing since, Purity Ring is setting up for a major project release in the coming months.

"many lives" and "part II" are out now on all music platforms.
