iNKOGNiiTO explores identity and chaos in new EP ‘iNKOMPLETE TERRiTORY’

If you’re looking for unconventional song structures and an immersive listening experience, then North London’s experimental/electronic artist, iNKOGNiiTO, has just released a new six-track EP that will satisfy all your needs.

iNKOMPLETE TERRiTORY is rooted in what they describe as “Alternative Futuristic” music, blending ambient electronics, alien pop, and surreal storytelling into a conceptual exploration of displacement, memory loss, and self-reconstruction.

At the core of the EP is a character drifting through different timelines, glitching between realities, trying to make sense of who they are. It’s a way of capturing how confusing and unpredictable life can feel sometimes.

The songs don’t follow a straight path—they twist, loop, and shift, mirroring the chaos and the ongoing search for calm within it all.

The EP includes tracks such as “Chemical X,” which confronts the idea of death and accepting it without fear. It’s a reflection on the feeling of going through life on a path that seems pointless, but still pushing forward into the unknown.

With its dark, minimal sound the song captures that emotional weight while also feeling strangely hypnotic and calm. iNKOGNiiTO shares, "The perfect ingredients for a disaster: Chemical X. A tune that redirects a futile path towards an unknown conclusion. I think about dying every day and how it doesn’t scare me — I wanted to write a song about that."

Then there’s “Satellites??” — a track that captures the feeling of calling someone out for lying, holding onto the truth even when they won’t admit it. The song delves into revenge, emotional reckoning, and the power that comes with confronting your fears—even the ones you’d rather leave buried.

Sonically, the EP is just as untethered, blending retro sci-fi aesthetics with '80s drum textures and space-age synths. iNKOGNiiTO pulls from these references to craft something entirely their own: a soundscape that feels alien yet strangely intimate, cinematic but deeply personal.
