Long Island, New York native Jon Bellion is back with a new single called "HOROSCOPE", featuring Pharrell Williams. The multi-talented Bellion- known for his infectious blend of contemporary pop, hip-hop, R&B, indie rock and more, first garnered wider attention for his 2016 debut album The Human Condition, which he followed up with the vibrant, eclectic 2018 LP Glory Sound Prep. Additionally, Bellion is responsible for writing credits on some of the 2010's top hits alongside the likes of Eminem, Rihanna, and more. His versatility as a singer, rapper, songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist have led to a wide-ranging solitary and collaborative discography that combines diverse genre influences seamlessly. His latest offering, "HOROSCOPE", alongside the legendary Pharrell Williams, arrives ahead of his third album FATHER FIGURE– his first since 2018- and it presents an emotive, atmospheric new release evocative both in sound and lyrical content.
"HOROSCOPE" contains sentimental, lush piano melodies that build into a powerful chorus underscored by atmospheric, layered backing vocals, synths, and strings. The track's heartfelt, dynamic vocals provide a potent tribute to Bellion's wife, while offering an emotive window into modern day fatherhood. Of the new song, Bellion says, "'Horoscope' is my thank you to my wife. I'm saying, hey, if you need me now, I will come back for you. Thank you for letting me do this. You're the reason I've even made it this far. If you need anything, you don't even need to say anything, I'll read you like a horoscope. I'll come right back home and set flame to all of it".
