Hertfordshire Indie newcomers The Pedals take us on the rollercoaster of a messy relationship on vibrant offering “Spitting Feathers,” which blends buoyant sonics with melancholic vocals and heartfelt lyricism.

Rooted in the signature indie-rock sensibilities, the track strikes a balance between being punchy and restrained, swaying effortlessly between powerful charm and emotional sincerity.

Built on  biting guitars, punching drums and grounding bass, the track is catchy and intense all at once as it unfurls a tale of confusion in love. Speaking of the track, they say, "The lyrics describe someone who is completely confused about what their partner wants and what they’re even looking for themselves. They keep trying to make things work, even when it feels like they’re losing who they are.”

Honing on the idea of putting our comfort and safety first, the track encourages us to move on from relationships that afford us that security.

Having quickly gained recognition for their effortless yet controlled musicality, The Pedals establish themselves as an act to watch as they continue to build momentum.
