Cate Von Csoke is a Brooklyn-based creator whose music blends dream pop, shoegaze, and noir folk for a mesmerizing listen. The singer-songwriter and musician just shared her latest album The Air Dangerous, an enticing eight track oasis of sound set in the stark desert landscapes of the American Southwest. The highlight of the album is the single “Out Of The Blue In The Western Sun”, which is shared alongside a unique animated music video.

With “Out Of The Blue In The Western Sun”, Cate Von Csoke pens an anthem of escape. The song chronicles the enjoyment of a transformative moment in the wild desert with someone special. She sings, "Tell me baby / You're the only one / And we're spinning / Weightless in the blue / And we're living," showing this theme. Musically, “Out Of The Blue In The Western Sun” features moody guitars colliding under echoing, warm vocals for a cathartic listen. The song is dreamy, ethereal and slow-burning, taking the listener on a journey towards freedom. The accompanying music video is a unique animated story of a woman finding water in the desert. She dives in and finds a whole new world filled with wonder and the mystic.

The Air Dangerous is the sophomore album from the riser who draws comparison to Beach House and Mazzy Star. The Aussie born artist is enigmatic, passionate and courageous. Check out her new music video below and get lost in the sound.
