Indie-pop act Timothy Nelson shares visuals for “Your House,” from his latest album Debaser Tapes, a collection of captivating indie-pop anthems that leads us on an intricate musical journey.
The luscious sonic core of the album is best reflected in the lead single “Your House,” which explores themes of longing and self-discovery rooted in an musical expanse of electric guitar, bass, drums, and synths.
Written by Nelson and produced by Andy Lawson, the track which was born out a a spontaneous recording session with longtime collaborator Dale Shearsmith captures the collaborative spirit nestled within the full project.
Speaking of the album, Nelson says, “The album has been such a journey ; I wanted to let each song dictate its own direction. Lyrically, I think a lot of these songs are connected on some deeper level, even if some feel a little more playful on the surface than others.”
With a deeply personal yet gently inviting musicality, Timothy Nelson continues to carve out a niche for himself in indie-pop music.
