Brighton outfit Fever Rouge have unleashed their dark and electrifying new single, "Feed The Villain", out now. The track offers a thrilling glimpse into the band’s evolving sound and sets the stage for their upcoming EP of the same name, due for release on April 4th.
Blending post-punk, indie, and alt-rock influences, Fever Rouge craft a raw yet refined sound, inspired by artists such as King Krule, Radiohead, Bloc Party, and The Stone Roses. Both energetic and thought-provoking, the new track explores the tension between impulse and morality. A brooding bass riff and swirling, psychedelic guitars build suspense before the track erupts into a visceral, high-intensity chorus, culminating in a wall of fuzz-drenched sound.
Lyrically, the song walks the line between indulgence and critique, touching on themes of excess, power, and consequence. “Selfishness is too common—whether in politics, corporate greed, or daily life. The EP explores the different sides of the ‘villain,’ challenging listeners to recognize and confront it before it’s too late.”
With "Feed The Villain" setting the tone, Fever Rouge’s full EP arrives on April 4th, followed by their ‘Villain Tour’ across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
