Josie Ho is a singer and actress from Hong Kong who has made a name for herself not only as a famous cinema star but also as a gritty rock n' roll reinventor. The multi-talented creator has an unwavering commitment to promoting local music and culture from Hong Kong. Teaming up with Wah Tung Music, her latest event Dragon Rock was a perfect example of this.
Dragon Rock took place February 27th at the Indigo at The O2 in London and featured a diverse array of performers from Paul Wong to LMF, 24Herbs, and Josie Ho with her band Josie and the Uni Boys. A packed house enjoyed the multi-lineup show presented by Wah Tung Music and Touch Music Live. The music was a ferocious blend of genres most notably rock, hip hop, and punk. The talent sung in Chinese and each brought their own dynamic performance. 24Herbs, the Hong Kong hip hop group, brought a lively and hard-hitting show while singer-songwriter Paul Wong sang his signature Chinese pop rock blend to an engaged crowd. Cantonese group LMF played all their favorites. The highlight of the night though, was Josie Ho and her band Uni Boys' performance. Her avant-guard stylings, hard hitting music and charismatic delivery wowed the audience.
The 2025 Dragon Rock was a success and the organizers are planning more musical events to come. Check out the band's below and get excited for what is next!
