Rhode Island band Lookers share a glimpse of their forthcoming debut album Deeper with “Midnight TV Dinner,” the second track from the project following the vengeful, gritty synth “Bury You Alive.”
With the latest offering brimming with a fantastical touch and a sense of sonic timelessness, Lookers continue allure us with their genre-bending musicality which spans influences of pop, noise, post-punk and disco.
A bold encapsulation of the core theme of the upcoming project, which is set to dive into the complexity and thrills of desire, the track continues to hone in on the band’s explosive yet introspective musicality, framed by thrashing soundscapes and poetic storytelling.
Known for an atmospheric but sharp musicality, Lookers who began as a songwriting duo between vocalist and poet Muggs Fogarty and guitarist/frontman Rafay Rashid blossomed into a full-fledged band including bassist/violinist Florence Wallis, guitarist Nick Politelli, and drummer Bryan Fielding. Now on the cusp of their debut project, the Lookers promise to leave you wanting more of their angsty yet sultry sounds.
