British neo-soul singer NAO has released her new single, “Light Years.”
Another teaser for her upcoming album Jupiter, “Light Years” is a love song that carries both a gentle sadness and a hopeful gleam, reflected in the lyrics: If you and I could have it all / then I would wait a thousand years for you.
As always, NAO’s wispy, balletic vocals pair seamlessly with a lilting piano medley and delicate pizzicato guitar plucking. The result feels anthemic yet slightly pared-down—like the perfect soundtrack to falling in love.
Currently preparing for her upcoming tour, NAO will kick off a string of European dates on February 25th, followed by a short UK tour before heading to North America.
