New Jersey trio Alpha Rabbit shares piano-driven ballad “Temperatures,” diving into the human tendency to want someone close while also pushing them away.
Capturing the complex and contradictory nature of humanity within a catchy and chaotic soundscape, the track is framed equally by a rebellious sonic touch and emotive delivery.
The track is accompanied by vivid visuals that evoke a sense of vulnerability as it showcases an intriguing space-themed, interstellar love story.
Speaking of the track, member Jaime Parker says “'Temperatures' was a long time coming. When we first got together as a band in 2016, I had fragments of it written. We needed to gel as a band before we were able to pull the composition of this song off,” with Jake Foy adding “As our various writing styles started to come together, the song started to take the shape of the Ronettes in outer space.”
Formed in 2016 by Foy and Parker along with Joe “Dim” Wolstenholme, Alpha Rabbit’s penchant for musical experimentation has seen them dive into a range of genres and themes, blending different styles together in an energetic yet thought-provoking artistry that leaves us excited for more.
With this latest offering giving us a glimpse of upcoming album Let it Grow, Alpha Rabbit continues to pulls us into their reflective and dynamic world, one anthemic number at a time.
