Melbourne-based indie rock and alternative pop artist Quinny has released the video for "Up The Dollar," a track from his debut album Outer Monologue (out now). Known for his emotive lyricism and infectious guitar-driven sound, Quinny combines satire with heartfelt storytelling, blending influences from Biffy Clyro, Blink-182, The Beatles, and Bombay Bicycle Club.

On "Up The Dollar," Quinny ventures into political satire, humorously attempting to write from an alt-right perspective, only to be pulled back by his own biases. “It became more of a comedy piece,” he says, adding a tongue-in-cheek disclaimer to the song: “Any resemblance to real persons… is purely coincidental.”

Produced with Robin Evans (The View, Dodgy) and Rowena Wise, Outer Monologue features collaborations with Marie Collins (The Vegan Leather) and Kieran Logan (Kassidy). The album showcases Quinny’s knack for crafting vibrant, melodic songs with layers of wit and sincerity, and it's safe to say that Quinny’s blend of infectious riffs and thoughtful lyricism is gaining momentum.
