As we kick off a new week, we also have something new from prolific singer/songwriter Lil Flower Nasti who gifts our ears with 2 brand new tracks. In usual fashion, she is back with her longtime collaborator, the Grammy-winning producer Gennessee and together they concoct classic retro-tinged pieces that continue to show Lil Flower Nasti's evolution as an artist.

"The Truth" starts with a cinematic brass stab layered with a prevalent bassline and rich bluesy guitar riff and builds into an emotional frenzy as Lil Flower Nasti belts out an emotional burst. Lines like "I sold my soul to the devil/To get another taste of you/I threw the dirt with a shovel/I had to dig for the truth"  show the stakes are high and the allure of this toxic love was just too hard to let go.

The next track "Bang Bang Boogie" is a cinematic and enthralling piece that explores the invisible deviants and monsters who seem to be everywhere, especially in the cutthroat music industry. Once again, Gennessee sets the perfect canvas with his brooding and scenic production that is inspired by classic noir flicks with a touch of modern aesthetics. Here, Lil Flower Nasti warns us of the dangers and hazards that come with this life and the need to be always vigilant and aware. Overall, the track has an urgent and brooding feel which is punctuated by Lil Flower Nasti's commanding vocal runs and enthralling songwriting.

Both tracks are lifted off her latest EP The Evolution of Sarah.
