Known for their stand-out lyricism and revered status in the underground scene in the mid to late 90s, the duo have not lost a notch in their belts. Over G-Squared's anthemic keys, bass-heavy drums, and cinematic samples, we are gifted that classic Queens vibe we all love with Mic Geronimo setting it off with his laidback flow followed by Royal Flush's commanding baritone vocals. Their verses are threaded by excellent vocal scratches reminding us who the dominant forces are.
The lyric video animated by Amina Mara takes us on a trip through NYC, from the streets to the subways and up to the skyline accompanied by lyrics that hop off the page courtesy of slick eye-popping effects.
