Producer and DJ Skellytn made history in 2022 as the first female Drum & Bass album in North America and has since released songs on different indie labels. Her latest effort "Keys to the Rave" is a heavy collaboration with Drum & Bass rapper Coppa. The result is a rousing cyber punk-inspired piece laced with dark brooding strings, woozy FM8-type synth basslines and a sturdy drum groove to complete the mission. On the vocal tip, Coppa delivers his verses with a laidback and collected flow and his distinct baritone vocals that command audiences to step out of their comfort zone.
Skellytn is a graduate of the famous Los Angeles production school Icon Collective, Skellytn credits the LA underground scene in which she grew up as well as electronica icons like Skrillex and Noisia for inspiring her to learn to make music. She released music on Space Yacht, Emengy, and Drama Club before her Neurocomputer debut dropped.
