Rising indie rock band Bighead Tea Drinkers return with their infectious new single "Flowers". The track perfectly encapsulates the summer, with its upbeat melodies, driving rhythms, and catchy vocals. Drummer Marshall describes "Flowers" as “a feel-good summer tune in its rawest form,” ideal for moments like “sitting on the beach watching the sun set.” Vocalist Freddie likens it to “lying in a field of daisies with the person you’ve caught feelings for,” while Ellie notes that the chorus will linger in your head, just like that unforgettable someone.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of The Strokes, The Clash, and Lana Del Rey, the Brighton-based musicians, still in their early twenties, have quickly made a name for themselves. Their April 2024 EP, Travel Far, Get Away, led to sold-out shows across the UK, as well as appearances at major festivals. Bighead Tea Drinkers are proving they’re a band destined for bigger stages. "Flowers" is their latest step towards capturing the sound of a generation.
