Prolific Baltimore DJ and producer Neil Nines delivers his latest piece titled "The Beat of Your Heart" with a visual accompaniment. The track, released in April, is a collaboration with his uncle, Restorer, who recently retired as one of New York City’s most iconic antique restorers.
Restorer is an immigrant from Soviet Ukraine/Moldova and this is his debut as a vocalist. He brings his expressive poetic style to the fore with a laidback, almost nonchalant demeanour over Nines's rousing guitar plucks, and punchy drum grooves. The result is a lovelorn, nostalgic track that dives into a simpler time and the stirring emotions of lost youth and fleeting memories of what was once part of someone. Neil Nines is currently working on an EP.
The visual style employed by Italian music video producer Lorenzo Calandro (KLOR) uses bright surreal colours with solemn aesthetics and visual effects to describe the journey of life of a young man going through phases.
