Stockholm-based emerging singer and songwriter Noak Hellsing is a young artist making waves on the Swedish pop scene. Since his 2019 debut Lost, he has released two more albums and is working on his EP. His latest release "Empty the Bags" is a superb blend of the old and new. From the moment you hit the play button, the hypnotic bassline hits you and draws you in with its enthralling pulse. Reminiscent of Heatwave's "Boogie Nights", Hall & Oates's "Can't Go For That"," and Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall", the track rises to a fever pitch with sublime falsetto melodic runs laced over a prevalent bassline and a hypnotic groove. There is not one dull moment in this disco/soul-infused jam that we are guaranteed you will play it at least 5 times the first time you hear it.
