British Nigerian musician and poet Joshua Idehen delivers a powerful message of self-acceptance in his latest track, "All You Can Do Is Try." Known for his distinctive spoken-word style, Idehen blends soulful reflections with modern club sounds, creating a track that is both profound and dance-inducing.

"All You Can Do Is Try" emerged from a moment of vulnerability during Idehen's UK tour. He recalls discovering he would be performing to only two people. "Sucked to hell, I'd been weirdly serene about at the time." He texted his partner, saying "all you can do is try." She replied, "I promise that will be alright," and the chorus wrote itself from there. Produced by Ludvig Parment, the track features euphoric keys, lively hi-hats, and pulsating beats. Remixes by Swedish DJ Bella Boo (June 7th) and DJ Mr. Tophat (June 14th) promise to elevate its effervescent beats.

Idehen's career includes contributions to Mercury Prize-nominated albums and collaborations with artists like Alabaster DePlume and Daedelus. Following his acclaimed 2023 mixtape "Learn To Swim," Idehen's 2024 projects include a collaboration with Metronomy and a headline show at London's Corsica Studios.
