Making Friends with the Space Around Me, the latest release from Australian artists Headaches (E^ST) and Golden Vessel (1tbsp), is a testament to creative synergy and emotional exploration. This collaborative album, out now via Sumoclic, showcases a refreshing blend of indie-pop and alternative dance that captivates listeners from start to finish.

The album builds on the success of singles like "Make it Somehow," "Happy Days in Happy Weather," and "Be My Own Man," which have already set high expectations. The inclusion of three new tracks enriches the collection, offering fresh sounds and perspectives. Headaches and Golden Vessel's chemistry is evident in every beat and lyric, with their shared artistic vision coming through in the album's cohesive yet varied sound. With each artist being so established in their own right, the album was always certain to bring a high quality throughout.

Themes of vulnerability, self-discovery, and acceptance weave throughout the album. Headaches describes the process as an opportunity to let go of control and embrace authenticity, a sentiment that resonates deeply in tracks like "I Inhabit My Life (And It Feels So Good)" and "The Song Of You." Golden Vessel's production creates an immersive backdrop that allows these themes to flourish, making the album a genuinely introspective experience.

"This album has underlying themes of letting go of control, being vulnerable and learning howto embrace your life. Being present in your body and environment, being honest with yourself and the people in your life, and trusting that things will work out how they need to. We tried to be honest in our lyricism and musicality, not overthinking the process and just letting things flow how they naturally did"
