Family Habits declare that “People Are Mosaics”

Family Habits is a father-and-son duo made up of Ivano and Mark Borgazzi who have a knack for crafting experimental jazz, and soul soundscapes with moody pop aesthetics. Their latest release "People Are Mosaics" is also the title track of the duo's debut EP and a strong introduction to the type of nonconformist approach they possess. The production is extremely layered and surreal with Ivano Borgazzi 's ethereal piano compositions serving as the focal elements alongside the baritone and somewhat nonchalant vocals by Mark while the rhythm arrangements by Riccardo Oliva and Gianluca Pellerito help solidify everything. The record is bolstered by the soaring and progressive textures that hit the plateau with rousing drums and resolutions with the keys. As the title suggests, the track feels like a collage of miniature sounds that add up to create a bigger, beautiful picture of all the good things life could bring.

Family Habits is based in Italy and the UK. The Borgazzis have worked with many different artists. Mark is featured on various tracks and was part of a well known electronic trio, while Ivano (pianist and composer) is known and active on the Italian Jazz scene. In the 90s he founded the Acid Jazz revelation Funky Company.
