Opening with the rattling hi-hats and sleek 808s of “Ms. Michelangelo,” led by Monroe’s smooth vocals, the EP eases into a laid-back yet expressive feel before picking up with the energy of “From the Ground up (Remix).” Moving from the atmospheric feel of the first offerings we come to an emotive close with the acoustic guitar-led anthem “We Share the Same Eyes,” wrapping around us with ringing ethereal choirs.
