Georgia born and Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Stela Cole has just shared her latest single and thrilling music video. Called "Blood Orange Wine", the song and video is the third release of a trio of releases that all build together to tell the story of a young woman caught in an endless cycle.
With "Blood Orange Wine", Stela Cole taps into her own struggle of being emotionally hurt by the one she loved. Time heals though and with the new song, the artist is ready to move on. She sings confidently "I'm going do what it takes to get over / the hurt the pain / all the lies and the blame." From the heartbreak, Stela turned to what she loves the most, listening to soundtracks of her favorite musicians including Fleetwood Mac and Electric Light Orchestra. These influences seeped into her own music, creating her own brand of evocative pop filled with classical arrangements, dream-like sonics and cinematic backdrops that is once again evident in "Blood Orange Wine". The song also highlights her vocal and songwriting prowess. In the accompanying music video, dramatic scenery of a motel in the desert sets the stage for a fight between Stela and her love interest. When he becomes unfaithful, she leaves him in the dust but memories of her past love haunt her throughout. The artist teamed up with Award-Winning Director Eliot Lee and co-star Noah Gonzalez for the motion picture worthy series of music videos.
