Elohim releases latest emotive, deep-diving single "Can't Remember Your Name"

"Can't Remember Your Name" marks Elohim's captivating first single of 2024. Following her raw and vulnerable track, "Broken Face," in December, Elohim plunges even further into the abyss of her mental labyrinth with “Can't Remember Your Name”.

Elohim has always been a musical chameleon with a gifted ability to seamlessly incorporate diverse genres and sub-genres in her music. “Can't Remember Your Name” is dance-focused and bass-heavy, situated within the dynamic realms of Electronic and Bass music.  Swelling bass, echoing synths, and an infectious beat cradle Elohim's always-ethereal vocals as she confesses to the listener “I take the drugs so my fears go away.” Writing is something that Elohim has found comfort in during her healing journey from personal struggles she dealt with while on tour last fall.

Sharing on the latest single, Elohim shares, "2023 was a challenging year for me and writing has been quite therapeutic. There are moments when I'm writing and I get so lost I forget about my problems for a moment in time. Writing ‘Can't Remember Your Name’ was one of those moments while I was lying down in my room."

With echoes of vulnerability and a potent testament to the turbulent ebbs and flows of the healing process, “Can't Remember Your Name” is an unapologetic plunge into the psyche of Elohim. Her openness and ability to detail her personal experiences with mental health through music have led to her being an inspiration to others around the world. They also serve as a reminder to listeners that they too can overcome the darkest of mental health struggles.

Elohim has notable collaborations with acts like Skrillex, Big Freedia, Marshmello, Party Favor, NITTI, Felix Cartal, and Big Gigantic. Elohim has played at festivals including Coachella, Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, EDC Mexico, Hangout, HARD, and many others.
