Speaking about the track, she says, “Lie was written back in 2018 inspired by my solitary, walk along London's South Bank by the river Thames, after being lied to and two-timed by someone that I cared about and thought loved me dearly. The song reflects my state of mind and mixed emotions during the walk as I pondered, thought about the times we shared and tried to navigate through my heartbreak from the betrayal. The song explores my melancholy, anger and eventually the realisation, confidence and acceptance that I'll be wiser, stronger and fine without him around.”
The track which charts moments of healing and independence is accompanied by affecting live visuals that pulls us in and immerses us into LEDI’s rich and emotive sonic world.
