California-based Portland singer, songwriter, and musician DINER first caught our attention with her last single "Goodbye to Someday" and now the Chicago-born singer sets off 2024 with her new single "Lasso the Moon". Written with frequent collaborator Emily Reid, and produced by multi-platinum-selling producer Kevin Bard. The track is a soul-stirring pop-country love song that sees DINER falling head over boots for her “prince charming”, but pausing to ask questions about how they feel about her, whether they are capable of giving her what she wants, and if they’ll give her the world that she deserves. These valid questions aim to reassure her choice to give her all to that special someone who will always be there for her.
"Lasso The Moon" is inspired by the infamous line from the cult classic movie It’s A Wonderful Life where George Bailey says, “You want the moon? Just say the word, and I’ll throw a lasso around it, and bring it down here”
"Lasso The Moon" is the second single to be taken from her highly anticipated forthcoming debut EP, which arrives later this year via independent record label Saint & Citizen Music.
