LIV †_musiq shares new single "I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN" (feat. Dave Shanaé & Corey G)"

Pacific Northwest Native Olivia Thomas, a.k.a. LIV is not new to us and has thrilled us with her brand of unorthodox R&B/soul stylings steeped in contemporary/retro sounds. Her latest release "I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN" sees her teaming up with fellow vocalists Dave Shanaé and Corey G. The record is a heartfelt and reflective tune that explores the aftermath of an intense love affair that has left the protagonist lost in the void. Over the warm and soothing soundscape made up of pulsating basslines, rich keys and sparse drum grooves, LIV pours her heart with lines like "Round and round we go/I can't give no more/Let me free my soul/So much me, I lost baby" and slowly finds her way out of this love spell that seems to have a hold on her. This is followed by a soothing melodic performance by the other artist as well and they share their own distinct experiences of being drowned in love.
