MYRY captures the liberation of moving on from heartbreak on "The Shards"

London-based singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer MYRY captures the liberation of moving on from heartbreak on “The Shards,” which expands on her emotional electronica soundscape and infuses it with a dance music sensibility.

Opening with eerie bass and gentle guitars, the track builds around ethereal vocals and enticing instrumentals. The layered production comes alive with each note as luscious synths, punchy kicks, gritty claps and offbeat pulses join the foray to make for an immersive listening experience.

Delving into the melancholy and the lightness of being heartbroken and healing from it, the uplifting track encourages us to get back up and find ourselves again. The track is accompanied by atmospheric visuals that perfectly compliment the message.

Having broken out in 2020 and drawing from a range of modern alternative influences, the Belgium, Italy and UK-raised talent continues to cultivate her fragile yet hopeful artistry as she sets herself up as a force to be reckoned with.
