Marshall Ma aka Muashall never dreamt of forging a career in modelling, however it has provided a platform to promote his true passion: music. Despite initially lamenting that his modeling career overshadowed his musical work, Muashall has learned to fuse the two as he builds an inspiring community among his fans and raise his profile in both career paths.
With a muscular physique that has shines throughout his Instagram, Muashall journey in modelling began since college. He signed a contract with Wilhemina Models and was surprised to discover his talent for showcasing swimwear and undergarments. He was recently featured in campaigns for brands like Etalon by Steve Canar and Aronik, a men’s swimwear brand.
It was only in his final year at USC that Muashall made it into the school’s sound lab. After graduating, he began training with his current mentor, a world-class concert pianist and Hollywood composer. His mentor encouraged him to keep developing his own style and sound, recognizing that Muashall’s distinct vision and tendency to lean into and explore flaws would help him reach higher levels of realism in his music.
Though unsure of how his modeling work would affect how people listened to his music, Muashall honed his craft and released his music to grace ears around the world – receiving a warm reception to his pleasant surprise.
However, he has found that many of his fans crossover between his two interests, and he can still relate to those who do not. Muashall receives messages from fans who both love to listen to his music and ask questions about his fitness routine. He feels he’s struck an ideal balance between music and modeling, bringing his work life into perfect harmony.

With an unconventional path to creating music, Muashall has created a stable fan base who are rooting for him in every way as he explores all of his passions while building a career. Ma’s future looks bright—for his music and his abs.
