Famed Los Angeles guitarist Liv Slingerland has just unleashed a bright and infectious indie pop single. Called "Better Than", the upbeat single is the latest off of her forthcoming EP of the same name.
With "Better Than", Liv Slingerland pens an end of summer cathartic banger all about embracing your own worth. Lyrics including, "Catch me on the late night / Number one got me looking good / Yeah, I know you miss the sex / Baby I get perfect tens / Know I’m better than the rest," show that Liv knows she is worth it and won't take a bad relationship any longer. Sonically, "Better Than" features a kaleidoscope of driving beats under layered vocals. Vivacious synths and a catchy chorus are hallmarks of this fun-loving single all about self confidence.
Liv Slingerland is a well known singer/songwriter and guitarist who has performed with the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Halsey, and Post Malone, among others.
