Emerging Vancouver-based R&B artist Rebecca Sichon, originally from Mission City in British Columbia’s Fraser Valley, is far from a newbie in the industry. With two EPs under her belt and countless live performances, she is ready to take on the world and now her new single "Picking Petals" is another springboard. Crafted during the 604 Records’ 604 Sessions song camp, Rebecca teams up with writer Colin Janz who helped co-write the uplifting and lively tune. The track itself is a seamless blend of pop with R&B stylings and showcases Rebecca's rich vocal texture in all its glory. Here, she reflects on the eternal question of mutual love as she experiences new love and butterflies in her stomach. The lyrics are quite joyful and fun and play with the uncertainty that comes with experiencing new love.
The visual is a live performance-styled clip that captures Rebecca Sichon's hearty and confident demeanour as she shows us what she knows how to do best.
"Picking Petals" is the lead single from the forthcoming 604 Sessions song camp
